An Arborist Report is a legal document prepared by a minimum AQF Level 5 Arborist, written for developers, commercial, government and residential clients addressing the management of trees in the urban environment. 

An Arboricultural Impact Assessment Report assesses the impacts on vegetation from infrastructure or construction work and provides recommendations for best practice referring to the appropriate local, state and federal planning instruments and the Australian Standard.

Issues surrounding trees are on the rise and this can lead to court proceedings. With university qualifications, The Consulting Arborists can provide expert witness testimony; for disputes over trees (QCAT), property damage, tree valuation reports and assist with appeals made during the planning process.

The Consulting Arborists are able to assist clients either through professional representation and/or through the mediation process.

Trees show stress in different manners, including but not limited to; leaf discolouration, declining branches  or insect attack. If these issues are addressed early, trees are more likely to respond to treatment.

Arrange to have your nursery stock assessed by The Consulting Arborists to ensure they meet the Australian Standard pre planting so they will compliment the design as planned. Ensure the plantings are certified prior to taking possession of the project, to ensure they are established and in good health. 

A Preliminary Tree Assessment is completed prior to the commencement of a project. Quantitative and qualitative information is collected and formalised in report form. 

These basic reports identify trees and give critical information such as species, heights, spreads and protection zone sizes, including any affected trees on neighbouring properties.

Within these reports are the basic protection measures required when working around trees as per Australian Standard AS 4970-2009 Protection of trees on development sites. 

Pre-purchase Inspection Reports are crucial as part of the due diligence prior to purchasing residential or commercial properties, to confirm the status of the vegetation growing on the site under local, state and federal planning instruments.

An AQF Level 5 Arborist (minimum qualification) responsible for all aspects of Arboricultural management including reporting/certification, advising and implementing protection measures and monitoring.
