A Preliminary Tree Assessment is completed prior to the commencement of a project. Quantitative and qualitative information is collected and formalised in report form.

These basic reports identify trees and give critical information such as species, heights, spreads and protection zone sizes, including any affected trees on neighbouring properties.

Within these reports are the basic protection measures required when working around trees as per Australian Standard AS 4970-2009 Protection of trees on development sites.

Pre-purchase Inspection Reports are crucial as part of the due diligence prior to purchasing residential or commercial properties, to confirm the status of the vegetation growing on the site under local, state and federal planning instruments.

Ensure the trees you are purchasing as part of your home or project are sound and disease free. Obtain qualified, unbiased advice on the trees pruning requirements and health needs.

Soil Amelioration Advice and Services

Trees are often planted in less-than-optimal situations and when this stress is compounded with droughts and other abiotic challenges, this leaves the trees vulnerable to attacks from pest and disease.

Like most things preventative care can go a long way to helping keep trees happy and healthy. Good soil environments are critical to tree health. With university qualifications The Consulting Arborists understand trees thoroughly and are able to recommend solutions to keep your trees happy and healthy.

Trees are assessed on their current health and structural status and are risk rated for peace of mind.

Trees can be photographed and if requested incorporated into a computer-based management system allowing detailed management of pruning and health care requirements.

This process can often be a legal obligation to ensure your tree assets are managed adequately.

Often areas require new plantings to provide green infrastructure into the future, The Consulting Arborists are able to assist you with planting and species selection specifications.

Council or state protected trees or trees that require protection during construction works, as per Australian Standard AS 4970-2009 Protection of trees on development sites, require extra measures to ensure they thrive and pose minimal risk into the future.

From schools to shopping precincts people love the shade and tranquilly of trees. When trees are managed correctly during works, the benefits they then provide can deliver low risk trees well into the future.

With a combined 27 years of arboricultural  and construction industry experience, The Consulting Arborists understand time constraints and site space requirements.
